Ok, so…. guess who hasn’t worked out in 2 weeks and gained 3 lbs… yup… THIS GIRL RIGHT HERE! XD And I can tell in the mirror, too…. D:

(P.S. I think I’ve been doing the wrong part of my torso for the waist…. whoops… also another reason for Reboot hahaha)

Weight: 140 lbs.

WELL LOOK WHO’S BACK??

I thought I was going to wait until Wednesday to start working out again, but after having a Iced Chai Tea Latte, Egg Salad Sandwhich, and Green Machine Naked Juice for Breakfast today, combined with 80 degree, sunny, breezy weather, it would have been a CRIME to not go outside for a jog today.

So, I did just that.

-4.46 miles: First 10 min walk, 10 min jog, then from there jog 5 min, walk 1 min.

Took almost exactly 1 hour :)

IT’S GOOD TO BE BACK GUYS!! <3

And me think I’ll be investing in a heart rate monitor with my next paycheck…

Notes: Ok, I’ll admit, that while I’ve been working out…. I haven’t improved my diet by very much :/ Partially because my family buys a lot of pre-made food or take out, and while I could buy my own food, there’s only one fridge… and my family, namely my father and younger brother, eat whatever the fuck they want out of it, even when it CLEARLY STATES IT’S BOUGHT BY AND ONLY MEANT TO BE EATEN BY ONE DAMN PERSON. And I’m not a fan of wasting my money.

BUT I WILL TRY HARDER!!! :D

Workouts: INSANITY 2 MONTHS STARTS TODAY

My younger brother has agreed to join me :3 So, 60 days of Insanity, here we come!!

Today was the Fit Test.

Unfortunately, we didn’t write down the results. But I’ll definitely let you know if we see improvements :D

Workouts: 6 MILE OMFG SATURDAY

So, my dad asked if I wanted to run with him. He’s 60 years old, 255 lbs., and ever since he had his QUINTUPLE bypass surgery a few years ago, he’s been running like crazy.

He says, “It’s the 4 mile path around our neighborhood, remember?”

And from the memories of long ago when I was in shape, yes, I do remember, so I agreed.

Well, guess what?

HE LIED. AT A POINT WHEN WE WERE SUPPOSED TO TURN TO GO HOME, HE SAID WE’RE GOING TO KEEP GOING. SO WE DID. AND RESULTED IN A 6 MILE JOG WITH OCCASIONAL BREAKS FOR WALKING. ADJALDKASDJASDKLASJLAKJ.

So, as you can guess, I COULDN’T EVEN WALK PROPERLY YESTERDAY, AND THE SORENESS I FELT IN MY QUADS HAS MOVED DOWN TO MY CALVES. ;_____;

But it’s all good. Getting stronger. That’s what this is about. Does that mean I should practically SHOCK my body in submission? No. But that’s ok… still working out… *grumble grumble*

Anyway, here’s the gist:

6 miles —> 80 minutes

We jogged, and for about 15 to 30 seconds every so often, we walked as a break.

There was also streetlights and crosswalks to wait for of course.

But not bad. Mostly just to burn calories. He burned somewhere around 1300. As I am smaller, and lighter, I probably burned much less, but a lot nonetheless.
